Receptions are meant for mingling, dancing, sharing food and drink, and catching up with family and friends. Portico is especially great for all of these wedding activities. The grounds are open for guests to talk on benches around the pool area, sit by a glowing fire in the cooler months, or chat around the bar area. We find that guests, whether young or not so young, love to enjoy the night  dancing, or catching a breath of fresh air and chatting with friends around the grounds.
